This is a one-person business, so this policy is short on purpose. I only ask for what I need to cook for you, and I do not sell or share it with anyone.

When you contact me — by WhatsApp, email, phone, or by sending a quote from the menu builder on this site — I receive your name, your contact details, and whatever you tell me about the event: the date, the address, the number of guests, the dishes you chose, and any allergies or dietary needs. I need all of it to quote the job and to cook safely.
Allergy and dietary information is health-related, so I treat it with particular care. I use it only to plan and prepare your menu, I do not store it beyond what the booking requires, and I never pass it on.
Photos of your kitchen and table, which I ask for before a booking, are used only to work out what equipment to bring. They are not published anywhere.
When you simply visit this site, measurement cookies may record which pages were viewed and how people arrived. This is explained in the Cookie Policy, and it only happens if you accept it.
The quote tool on this page runs entirely in your browser. Your choices are not sent anywhere while you use it, and nothing is stored on a server. Only when you press WhatsApp or email does a message open — already written — and you decide whether to send it.
I do not sell your data and I do not share it for advertising. It is seen only by: my accountant, for invoicing; an assistant chef, on larger bookings, and then only the menu and the allergy notes; and the services that run this site and my email and messaging — Google, Meta and the site host — which process data on my behalf. Nobody else.
Under the GDPR you can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, object to how I am using it, or withdraw a consent you gave. Write to lmateus93.lm@gmail.com and I will answer within 30 days. There is nothing to justify and no form to fill in.
If you think I have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (cnpd.pt). I would rather you told me first, so I can put it right.
This site is not aimed at children, and I do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 16. Where children are among the guests at an event, I only need to know about allergies, and that comes from the adult making the booking.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Nothing here applies retroactively to a booking already completed.
